I've been kept busy with my other website devoted to Swish magazine recently and as a result it's been a bit of a slow spell here. I'm planning to get some new stuff added soon and also to get the pricewatch page updated, it's been forever since I did that but I have been keeping a note of all the issues that have been on Ebay and what they made.
Sorry for the lack of new material recently, lots of new pics added today, enjoy. I've added more content to the Photo's, Stories, face sitting photo's and a few other things today. Go check i I had been beginning to think that the market for MSSM mags on Ebay had seen it's day, maybe most of the serious collectors out there had managed to obtain all but the most obscure issues or perhaps prices were dropping due to the recession. Proof of this was the copy of MSSM that sold on Ebay the other day for £3.40 (V3N&) but I have been confounded, last night V4N10 sold for an amazing £51 and four others sold for £20-£30 each. Will this be the start of a boom in prices? Who knows but I'm off to dig out my spare copies just in case. Many fans of Miss Sadie Stern's Monthly will also be familiar with Madame(In A World Of Fantasy) which was another great Femdom publication that was in it's prime in the 70's and 80's. I'm pleased to see that a fellow aficionado, who helped me add to my MSSM collection, has now launched a new website devoted to this fine magazine. It's early days yet but I'm sure that lot's of content will be added in the coming days, weeks and months. Head on over and check it out now, http://madame-magazine.weebly.com/index.html I've been watching a copy of V1N1 on Ebay for a few days, bidding was sluggish early on but with 12 hours remaining the price is £36. Generally the serious bidding takes place during the last few minutes of an auction so it will be interesting to see just how high the price gets. Previous copies of V1N1 have not performed particularly well in the past so this is a bit of a surprise, obviously there at least two serious bidders in for it this time. A few more scans of covers added today, one of which I had never seen before (N144) I'd like to add a bit more feedback from people who visit the site so it would be nice if you could take the time to comment. Weebly tells me there are at least 100 unique visitors every day, sometimes many more, so stop being so quiet and let me know what you think please. Just acquired another pile of 'new' issues, expect a serious update soon. New material added to the 'Story's' and 'Readers Letters' pages today. Just got my hands on a lot more issues of MSSM as soon as I have time to scan them there will be a major update to most sections. | AuthorI bought my first copy of MSSM way back in 1979, I'd have been in my late teens at the time.
